I currently live in an old, 2-storey farmhouse in Corvallis, Oregon - part of the beautiful Willamette Valley. But I was raised a fisherman's daughter in the tiny town of Crescent City, near Northern California's amazing Redwoods. Numbers have always fascinated me - even as a preschooler. I also have the privilege of residing with my two adult children and my toddler grandson, Forest. What a delight to be helping teach him about numbers, lol!
My life has been full of great experiences - scuba diving in Hawaii, hiking in Colorado, learning to fly, awesome road trips (there's nothing like a good road trip, yeah?) And all the while learning, learning, learning. My working life has run the gamut: I've worked in law offices, real estate, medical, law enforcement, high tech, media, retail and public service in a variety of roles (file clerk, secretary, administrative assistant, process operator, transcriptionist and bookkeeper). And I really enjoyed running my own Professional Organizing company for about 10 years. That was fun!
All of that work experience, of course, positions me well to uniquely understand the bookkeeping needs of various types of businesses.
